Cycling Training Log
A great feature of being a MyCycling.com member is the online training log.
Elite athletes are in-tune with their bodies and each person is an individual and 100% unique.
While science and training programs can deliver the outlines for training sessions and train different parts of your body variables, how you react to the training will differ from person to person.
By keeping tabs on what you eat, when you train, resting heart rates, fluctuations in weight and environmental conditions you can monitor what really gets you going well.
Most elite athletes after a big victory will look at their diary and take note of what they did to produce that result.
Then in future, they try to replicate that success by doing exactly what they did before including eating the exact same food, pre race meal, as well as the exact same rides leading into the event. Some even take it to the level of wearing the exact same socks!
While we realize that not everyone is that superstitious, keeping tabs on what you do can really help your training and add individuality to your program.
Even if you’re not out to break any records, it’s pretty cool to be able to see visually how much training you’ve done, and compare how much you’ve improved over time as a result.
For a limited time, the online training log is free with your MyCycling.com membership.
